Review: Anchor

Anchor
Anchor by Nicole Blanchard
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Anchor is an out of this world, incredible story that combines an adrenaline-laced thriller with a sweet, steamy romance. It’s the perfect mix in my humble opinion as only this author can create. This story will flood your senses and pull you under before you realize its hold on you. The plot is beautifully orchestrated and executed along with the silent yet strong undertow of strength, beauty, and courage. What you take away is something that will leave you completely breathless and undoubtedly satisfied.

Gabe just wants to live the life he has chosen. He’s content with the recent changes to his life in order to be closer to his daughter. An act of Fate and the valiant courage of a very special woman, Gabe’s life is turned upside-down. He becomes caught in the sticky web of a madman who will stop at nothing to obtain his goal. That goal will forever change Gabe’s life and plunge him into a future that will either blind him with its breathtaking radiance or cover him in a deep soul-sucking darkness.

How can I adequately say just how much I loved Gabe and Chloe? They are wonderfully fantastic characters that touched every part of my heart, and I couldn’t get enough of them. The storyline was brilliant, and their parts were played perfectly. The depth of emotion I felt throughout their journey was intense and wonderful. It is a book that I will be thinking about for a long time to come.

Nicole Blanchard is an author has an uncanny gift to look into the hidden parts of your heart and show you that beauty abounds everywhere and in any situation. Her writing will speak to your very soul as you take in her own heart and soul from the very pages of her book. There is nothing hidden as she brings things to light from deep within the shadows of fear and doubt. If you open your eyes, the possibilities are endless.
